grandMA2 or 3 training
2-3 DAYS
Whether you are new to grandMA consoles, want to brush up or even convert from series 2 to 3, we can help. Following the official structure laid out by MA Lighting, our grandMA courses can teach you all you need to know to programme your show.
Our courses are bespoke and on-site. Meaning we come to you and deliver in your venue on your own console/s. We can teach the basics or more advanced techniques, depending on experience and requirements. We cover all models in the grandMA2 and grandMA3 ranges. Whether you have warehouse techs who just need to know how to patch or full lighting programmers who need to know the lot, we can help.
We can even run the grandMA3 hardware service course for rental companies as well.

- Introduction to stage lighting
- Optics and colour
- Moving light technology

Networks for entertainment
1 DAY
An introduction course for those who are new to using networks in entertainment. Starting with why we need networks and what they’re capable of, the course moves on to talk about basic networking concepts including hardware and software topics. This course covers “the essential things you need to know” to get started with a simple lighting or sound network on a show.
The course contains numerous practical exercises so trainees can try out the concept being talked about and see how their routing works. Using both lighting and sound systems as examples, students get a hands-on approach to building their first networks.
We have our own network equipment using Cisco switches for this course, but if you want your team to learn using another brand, we’re happy to take that on and include it in the training.
